Default Bad Tie Rods

The steering on the Cruiser started behaving strangely, While I am replacing the engine I noticed that the Tie Rods I had just replaced a few months ago were bent.

These are what I installed:

https://www.amazon.com/PartsW-Piece-...omotive&sr=1-5

I cannot recommend them.

Must not have been heat treated (tempered) or some very mild steel.

Anyway, replacing them with some more expensive ones.

Fortunately, with the engine out they are easy to replace.

I have not hit anything that would cause this, speed bumps are the worst thing I have hit.

You really ought to post that photo in a review on Amazon. Those are currently enjoying a 4.4 star rating on Amazon, with only 10 reviews.

You should contact the seller before leaving a negative review, they may give you a refund.

If no satisfaction, then post your review of your experience with their product.

Exclamation Re: Bad Tie Rods

WOW

I highly recommend the MOOG Problem Solver parts, especially for steering components!
