Default Have to move on

I have had my 06 Limited since 2009. It has 71,000 miles on it now. I have a new job and no longer will have a company car. The PT was never a daily driver and just a sunny day summer time feel good experience.

I had to get a car that I felt will better take on that daily task. Someone will get a great pampered car with perfect interior and exterior.

I on the other hand will be driving a new car (but it will not bring the same smile on those daily trips even though the gas mileage will be much better!).

To those of you I interacted with - enjoy the ride!

There is NO reason why you can not continue to participate on this forum?

There are a few members that for various reason do not own or drive a PT Cruiser any longer but still are active on the forum.

I bought my PT Cruiser as a "keep it at work" beater (work was a 2+hour train ride from home). When that job ended, I kept the PT as a "utility" beater- I started my own handyman business, so I took out all the back seats and used it to haul water heaters and lumber and all sorts of stuff. Then I landed a great job at a national laboratory, so I closed the business. But I still kept the PT because some days I just want to relax on my commute (a half hour back roads drive normally taken at an, uh, ambitious pace in my FR-S). And it's still a great utility vehicle. So no need to leave the forum, and maybe even an excuse to keep your PT.

Cheers to your new drive!

I had gone from 5 PTs, to a V6 Challenger, then on to a SRT8 HEMI, and now I'm going back to a PT.
The HEMI is fun to drive.
But, so is the PT!
I had missed it!
