Default Purge solenoid question.

Replaced the solenoid and didn't mark the hose orientation! Dumb!

There are only two, 50/50 chance right? I don't see any markings on the solenoid. Does it matter which hose goes on which nipple and if so how do you know which one goes where!

Checked the service manual and several online sources and they don't mention hose placement.

Default Re: Purge solenoid question.

i don't think it matters. a solenoid opens and closes a path for fluid to flow. a check valve would matter the direction.
