Default keeps overheating

ive got a 2003 pt non turbo .its an automatic car has 90k miles. ive replaced radiator(car had accident damage) water pump and timing belt, thermostat, upper lower radiator hoses, heater core hoses, flushed heater core real good. no coolant loss, no burning smell of it,no visible loss, no bubbles in the filler neck. car over heats. car runs real good. no miss or check engine light. im at a loss here. there was alot of rust/ scale built up in the cooling system and ive changed the collant since last time it over heated as the coolant turned a poop brown from the rust. its alot cleaner now, but still gets hot.
what should i look it? im at my whits end and about to part it out

The most common reason for a PT to overheat is failure of the radiator fan. The second most common reason is that the head gasket is blown due to overheating from a failed radiator fan. That's likely the death-nail for more PT Cruisers than anything else.

Here's some links to diagnostics for the radiator fan:

How to test my radiator fan?

Testing cooling fan

Radiator fan bypass test

Radiator/Cooling Fan Check & Connector Fix

Before doing one of these radiator fan tests, make sure you are burping the air out of the cooling system using the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing.

pulled radiator out. a little bit of stuff came out. there was some solid stuff around the filler neck. the fan did kick on with out the ac on. so i have both speeds . the radiator cap seems kinda hard to move up and down.
could that be causing my problems.
if head is bad, what are the symptoms besides overheating

Was aftermarket coolant added to the engine before you found the coolant a brown color?

What was the reason for replacing the timing belt?

The comment by you that your cooling system is still contaminated is the first suspect with your temperature control problem.

Has the thermostat been checked?

Not saying that the cap or contaminates in the system aren't the cause.

It just hasn't been mentioned.

EDIT
My mistake, you mentioned it in the original post about what was replaced.

Pulled radiator out. Reverse flushed it. Some crap came out. Did engine as well . could feel chucks hitting my hand, though water was clear. Did heater core, lots of brown liquid with chunks.I pulled the thermostat out, there was alot of parts of rust on there. I've got a picture. I think I may have solved it. Top and bottom rad hoses were pretty close in temp is hot. Fan does kick on. Its fairly new. I also cleaned up over flow tank. Once car is cooled off, I'll check coolant and go on a road test.
