Default Crapped up my paint...help please :)

I decided to remove the GT and 2.4T emblems from my car. I used some goof off and a rag (bad idea, I know)....guess I scratched it in the process. Any ideas on how to bring the shine back again???

Make sure the goof off is removed completely and it does not feel greasy to the touch. A picture would probably get you the best advice as how to proceed.

You might try a little WD-40 on a rag.

Honestly some of the best polish ive used to remove scratches is called "Nu-finish" its a wax like thing that doesn't actually contain any wax, works great for scratches.

A little too aggressive. I'd use a polish, much milder. Turtle wax sells a cheap polish available anywhere for about $2.

I'm surprised goof-off damaged your paint. Has the car been repainted?

It may have been the towel I used to rub in the goof off with. Didn't think I was rubbing that hard. I don't believe the car has been repainted.
