There was a white one similar to that for sale here about a year or two ago. No one seemed interested at the time.

These are all projects needing lots of attention and thousands $$$$ more spent on them to make them ...........fully functional??? so to say.

I'd like to have it just for the 340 engine. I've always liked what you can do with one of those. Find a mid 60's Dart to put it in and have some fun! Sell what other parts I could and possibly build a regular PT with the body.

My wife's crazy uncle used to build similar little rigs quit often. He'd just find an old beat up 4 wheel drive Toyota or Datsun pickup or jeep and then put some kind of little car body on them. I doubt he had a thousand dollars in any of them. But he was a true artist with a welding machine.

Right down the road from me, a guy has a Corvette fixed up like this. But he buys and sells hot rods and thing like that. And he's definitely kind'a touched in the head like my wife's uncle was. I think the best car builders likely are.

Ya I feel the same way. I have rarely seen these cheezee 4x4 swaps look good and most are plaqued with problems. The rare is the Rancharo or Elcamino swaps from a 4x4 running gear that were actually sorta factory looking and fairly turn key.

I saw a 70 El Camino a few months ago that someone was working on. It wasn't TOO offensive, but it's still a bowtie. No thanks.

I believe my wife's crazy uncle did a Ford Pinto on a 4WD Courier. It was pretty sweet looking.

Here's a 4x4 PT in action!
