Anyone remember Candyman? Apparently someone at Allpar has his PT and wants to sell it if anyone's interested.
We were saddened by his passing in 2017. We tried to connect with for one last ride...we stumbled across this awesome looking Hot Wheels car for sale and scooped it up. We didn't know it's history until later when Ray Newton saw what we brought home. https://photos.app.goo.gl/dqBrDPpQTnBHiA8fA By the time we had it, it had been debagged, the sound system yanked out and a few parts missing. We have left it at factory height BUT installed Ray's smoothie bumpers and painted the taillights and headlights to a more accurate period aviation look. We also replaced the dash components with what Don had in and matched the body color he created. Unfortunately, we have had to move and we can't keep her. We named her Lilith. She is currently parked in OC and looking for a new home. Contact us through PM here for more details about this beautiful car and memorial. We didn't want her to somewhere she's unappreciated. #1L8ydrgn, Yesterday at 7:15 PM ReportLike + Quote Reply 06PTElectricBlue 06PTElectricBlue Active Member Joined:Apr 2, 2019 Messages:68 Likes:40 NewI never knew Candyman, except from what I had read about him when I was over on PTCL, but he had a very cool PT and he was very talented ![]() Car names - PT Cruiser Forum (at Car names ) [IMG] It's also very cool that his PT still exists and hopefully someone will get it that will appreciate it ![]() It's too bad that you can't join PTCL and post over there about her, I'm sure there are still some members over there that know all about Candyman and his PT.

Funny at one point when he still owned it I made an offer ..... he almost took it and then said he needed it for a little longer as a driver. The rest is history.

He was a very generous soul. I was trying to contact him a couple of years ago and was having no luck. Then I kept searching and found a post on another forum that indicated he may have passed away. I hope someone good ends up with his PT. Candyman was among the best of us.

No big deal. I just wanted to know if you can actually drink the tap water in AR, like in TN or if it needs to be filtered like here in FL.

There's also lots of very clean shallow aquifers. Folks in rural areas often tap these for their water with their own wells. The issue is again where the substrata gets rocky. Where I live is on the Ouachita Mountain boundary. Well water is great in the country. But for a city's needs, they need to tap one of our nearby rivers and treat it. The water at my home today comes from the Saline River. It's very clean but runs through a deep forested area and has high natural organics. So they treat it with chloride. It's very drinkable but not as good as the natural untreated aquifer water my sweetie and I grew up drinking. Another area with the same issue is "West Little Rock". This is an upscale expansion of Little Rock west mainly in the Chenal Mountian area. There was plenty of water for the few farms there in the past. But today, there's not enough from shallow aquifers. So they try to pipe it in from the Maumelle reservoir. The problem is that there's not a supply passed the city limits. So some of the big fine homes out there need there own water tanks. And there are some water trucks that do good business out that way hauling water. Overall, Arkansas has water everywhere. Just look at a map. You can't throw a rock without it landing in water somewhere near. It's not that big an issue here except in areas of high growth. ![]()
