Default GT Speed/wheel sensor

My abs and traction control lights are on. My cousin said he couldn't get the abs/wheel sensor to read. So, I am going to replace it...is it a tough job? I have read that it is in a hard spot to connect the sensor on the motor side. Also, I have a GT manual trans...is it a different sensor for the 5 speed?

The only information I can find on dodgeparts.com says that the rear ABS sensors are all the same from 2004-2010. Doesn't matter if it's automatic or manual shift. I've never had to replace one, so don't know how difficult a job it is. It all depends on your mechanical skills and experience.

I replaced my front passenger side. 05 GT
Wasn't to bad...
I think each one is specific for each wheel

MJ is probably right. The dodgeparts.com site didn't show any numbers for the front sensors, those listed were for the rear. Hmmmmm

I went ahead and had my cousin change the sensor for me since I am having him take care of a pulley that has been making noise on the pt. Got the part from rock auto for $15 shipped....can't beat that!
MJKnight and chuzz like this.
