Default PT gone

Yesterday I passed my Cruiser on to a new young Cruiserphile. Nice 19 year old girl buying her first car. Not one belonging to daddy or a boyfriend. She was looking at a 03 with 190,000 miles with rough silver paint, needing a clutch for $500. They came to me asking if this was a good deal. It just so happened that last week I took possession of a 2003 F150 four door truck. With this being said, I made her a deal on my 2001 LE with 135,000. She's head over heels about it and I helped add one more person to the PT Cruiser cult!

I am still lurking and will probably offer up some "extras" for sale, like the polished spare. I put a normal steel one in the rack before letting go.

Don't be sad, be happy!

Mikey

Congrats, Mike. I'm sure that young lady will love the PT. You need to stick around, man. I don't have a PT anymore, but as long as the forum stays up, I plan on being here. You guys are family.

Time moves on. It's good you found a good home for the PT. Sometimes people cherish their first car, I hope this is the case. Tell the young lady to join our forum. You'll always be welcome here Mikey.

Glad you found a good home for you PT and it's always nice to help someone else out.

But like others have said, you need to stick around. You are a friend and this forum would not be the same without you.

PS: I'm interested in the polished spare if and when you sell it.

I plan on hanging around. Like chuzz said, like family.

Just because the Cruiser is gone, doesn't mean that I am.

Handy, when I'm ready, I will pm you.
