Default 2nd gen horn cover removal

Ive seen a few posts around here "trying" to explain removing the horn cover. Dont get me wrong, I'm appreciative, but they were kinda not helpful. They show the hole, and you are shoving a screwdriver in there, and trying, and trying but without a clue of the construction of the offending $#%$^%&%* clips, or what hidden electronic/plastic/delicate things youre stabbing...

Soooo.... once you get aggravated to the point of using Ryobi powered cutting tools and cutting the plastic surround behind the steering wheel, you can actually see what youre up against.

Here's the actual EVIL retaining clip monster.
Hopefully, I can save somebody from destroying something.

Yeah, they are a pain in the butt to get off. A small hook tool works well to insert and pull the clip away from the tab. A real pain but easier than the 1st gen!

Your pics will help someone who has never done it before see what they are up against.

It's much easier on the 2nd Gen PT's. I just use one of these. It pops right off.
