Just for the benefit of those who may be following along various transmission related threads, this may be stating (restating) the obvious but for those who, at this late date may not have got the word, do not use any other type fluid than the ATF+4.
Use of any other type fluid will cause transmission failure. Yes, the ATF+4 is expensive but don't be tempted to use a substitute... a transmission rebuild is much more expensive. Even a quart of the wrong stuff "just to top things up" will cause problems.
