Factory Stereos and Sirius tuners

Just a quick question here. Who makes the stock headunits for the PT? I have the base one with the single CD player. I would like to put a Sirius tuner in mine. Can this Headunit be hooked up to the MOPAR Sirius Tuner and will it display correctly or will i have to upgrade the entire headunit?

What year is your PT?

The MOPAR Sirius radio will work with any MOPAR head unit that has the AUX port on the back - I believe this was all years of PTs, because the same AUX port is used for the 6-disc CD changer, but I don't know about display info on all years. I have only verified the Artisit/Title info displays on head units in 2003 and 2004 PTs.

If your radio is an RBP radio/cassette/CD, then it will not only work, but Artist/Title info will display as long as you get the MOPAR Sirius receiver and use the wire harness that comes in that kit.

I have an '03 Classic. My stereo is the AM/FM/CD radio. No cassette in the unit.
