The folding/heated mirrors that were eliminated for '03 sound like a good thing. Is there a source for '02 side mirrors? DC maybe?
Thanks! BB |

Don't see why not. Pretty sure wiring for heat is gone - they wire for all options, but when they drop something,....
The heated mirrors come on with rear defroster.

Yep, I changed out my mirrors for the heated ones. The fit is the same as the 03 on the outside, but the connection inside the door has been modified. It still couples the same but DC eliminated the wire from the fuse box that supplies the power for the heater element. My Dad and I just ran a wire from the coupling thru the door boot to the fuse box. We got one of those "Add-a-circuit" fuse plugs and wired in an illuminated switch from the Shack and mounted that just below the fuse box door. We did it that way so we didn't have to take apart the dash to wire into the defroster switch. I got my mirrors at Chryslerpartsdirect.com. I talked to Andy, he sent me still in the box factory mirrors. They worked perfect with the add on chrome covers too, but don't tell the wife (hehehe). Good luck [?]

You could always try the salvage yards to find them cheaper.
