Default My winter project

I can't wait. As you all know I have a fiber glass cowl induction hood, which is screaming for a air brush mural. Picking the right air brush design took some time because it's on for good. I got an idea from a guy that I relly like and this is what it is. When you look at my hood(The raised portion) it will be like you are looking right through my hood into the engine. Kind of a X ray effect in 3-d. I have not decided on what engine I will have him detail on my hood. I was thinking of a Hemi/ Flat head/ or a tri carb of some sort. I want lots of detail with components, chrome, wires, carburators etc. Phase two will be to remove my decal of the brab wire around the car and have that air brushed on as well. after that its SHOW TIME! GARY [?]

That sounds great! [^] I vote for a 300C HEMI!!! Hope that your wife increased your allowance as painting a "hemi" on your hood will not be cheap. What about all those possible rock dings from the road trips you plan to take showing off your new "GT HEMI"?

Good luck with your project. [8]

Gary, the problem with today's version of the modern Hemi is that most of the components are enclosed in plastic covers. I want to see the detail of the engine. I may have to find some old pictures of a vintage Road Runner or something to get the art work to come out right.

For vintage, find pics of a 392 with three deuces.
