Double face tape

Some one had posted the name of a double face clear tape used for adhering weather striping to headlights etc. Cannot remember the name of it . Any help out there? Tried the search and couldn't find it

Gonz, funny you posted this, I was looking for clear velcro all over the place for my head light covers. Could not find it. I'd be interested in this stuff as well. Gary

Are you putting on clear headlight covers? I've been looking for a pair (cheap) I like those etched glass flamed decals the guy from England was selling but was told by Motor vehicles in NJ they would never pass inspection so I figured I could cheat the system by putting them on a removable cover.

3M has a Clear Mounting Tape, #4010, It's 1" x 60" roll. I got it at Wal Mart, $3.88, I think.
I used it to attach novelty glasses to marbel bases for trophies for a PT Show. Worked great!

I finally found what the double side 3M tape is, I knew I saw it here someplace. 3M VHB post says you can get it at sign makers store.

gonz, I have the gto style covers, not the solid dark, they have clear for the headlights. Gary
