Thanks for all of your help. I think I will take the switch out to see if i can add the light...the rectangular opening is in the top of the switch...the indent that does not say lock on it...maybe it will be an easy hook up...

Hey rszappa1, you may need to be a bit more detailed in phrasing
your question on this: Just saying Power Door Locks, generically,
may be confusing the issue: here is why........>
On my 2001 PT Limited Cruiser, Front Center Console: 4 switches
for window operation - top 2 for front windows, bottom 2 for rear windows - ALL 4 did light up on the 2001 Cruisers.
The 2 window switches for the Rear Windows THAT ARE ON THE FLOOR
FOR REAR PASSENGERS - Also were lighted on the 2001 PT.

Now then, I have traded my 2001 PT for a 2004 GT. On the 2004 GTs,
Front Center Console: 4 switches BUT ONLY TOP 2 LIGHT UP.
And the additional Rear Window Switches on the FLOOR for Rear Passengers, DO NOT LIGHT UP anymore either.

Just wanted to make sure you understood - as based on your e-mails
it sounds like you are saying that NONE of yours light up, which
would be a problem then on your car for someone to look at.

Thanks...on your 04GT do you power door lock on the inside of the front door panel light up? Mine do not....I wonder if I would get a switch for a 2002 or so and install...if then it would light up..

Sorry rszappa1, I slipped into the window switches discussion -
as far as the "power door locks" No, mine do not light up on the
doors for my 2004 GT.
