I have never bought any extended warranty for any of my imports. This is the second domestic that I own, the first one was not a good experience. If not the rotor it is the airflow meter, than suspension. Enough of that, I got rid of it and bought an import instead. I bought the PT after many research and it comes as a recommanded vehicle from consumer report. But after reading all the postings on the forum and suggestion from my mechanic friend, I decided not to take the chance. In Canada, standard warranty is 3/60K, so the extra 4 yrs and 55k is a good investment. I figure it equals to the extra cost of a few cups of coffee a day.
Just my 2 cents worth Paw |
