Default two-toned our cranberry Cruiser

Gradually working on customizing our Cruiser. I put the chrome strips on the grill - really surprised what a big change it made! I have a few others chrome things on the wish list.

Got it two-toned it over Labor Day. Turned out great! When the paint is cured, we have a Xenon style spoiler to put on, as well as the moonroof deflector I got from a nice guy on this board.

Hubby is planning on doing some silver (aluminum) leaf along the body line and maybe some other graphics. Sometimes doing your own graphics is harder than other people's!!

Hopefully the Dream Cruiser wheels the service manager ordered to replace my peeling chrome wheels, will be in next week.

Coming along... slowly but surely!!

We're really happy with the color combo. I wish it was sunny when I took the photos - more obvious - otherwise, very subtle.

Hubby has a sign shop that does pretty much everything, including graphics and pinstriping. It's hard deciding on graphics on your own vehicle! Just when you think you have it figured out... you come up with another idea! Making the final decision to go with the black over cranberry was a big step for us.

Thank you - I think I did a pretty darn good job on the strips... for a girl...

Looks good. I would paint the bumpers next. Keep the pictures coming as you upgrade.

Already had the bumpers painted about a month or so ago, because of the tape marks. Thought about asking if they could paint them the body color... but decided on staying with the grey.

That way, when they get bumped and scratched, there won't be another color underneath to show through. If it was a second car, less used, maybe... but it's my daily driver, including in the winter, plus I have to park on the street where I work.

And you ever notice, no matter where you park in the WalMart lot... that someone just has to park next to you so they can get you with their doors?? [:I]
