WOW!!! Some of those pictures bring back a lot of memories. My family used to cruise the Blue Ridge Parkway often when I was a kid. It was part of our family entertainment. When I was very young we cruised is a 1947 Dodge four door sedan with suiside rear doors. Later own my parents had Oldsmobiles including a 1957. We covered most of the Parkway from the northern entrance down to North Carolina. Every fall, we'd have a big family picnic somewhere along the Parkway and hike the nearby trails. Natural Bridge was also a common spot for day cruises. It hasn't changed much over the years. Thanks for bring a big smile to my face remembering my youth and my family.
