Default Hurst Shifter

I spent about 4 hours on Sunday installing the new Hurst Shifter and Booger Bushings. It sure does make a difference in how it drives. I am very pleased with the result. I think the Hurst badge looks nice with the Tangerine color, don't you? All the posts regarding this mod were really very helpful. Thanks to all.
RJ

Still loving my Hurst. Did that badge come with your Hurst because I didn't get one after my dealer installed it.

You can order a repro of the classic 'Hurst Equipped' badge from Jegs:

Mean Green,

Fritz is exactly correct. JEGS is where I ordered the badge. I actually bought two since I was not sure if I was going to put them on the side of the car under the PT Cruiser logo or not. I decided a single badge on the back would do fine.

Does the Hurst shifter eliminate the black plastic spacer shown in the picture below?

Or does anybody have a picture of the Hurst Shifter installed, but without the console over it?

I really like that shifter and am wondering if i can use it my SRT-4. Thanks in advance!

The black spacer remains, only the top mounting fixture is replaced. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the finished installation, I was too eager to get it done and drive it.

Thanks man. I'm aware of the MP Short Shifter for the SRT-4... all it is is a production PT Cruiser Shifter. Thanks tho!

In the picture below, the stock SRT-4 shifter is in the foreground, and the Mopar STS is in the background.

Does anybody have a parts book or happen to know offhand what the part number is for that black plastic spacer?
