yeah my milage in this week alone is crazy i got 14 mostly city driving then with a mx i got 20 and now ive gone 70 miles on a quarter of a tank, which if i keep it up may result in aabove 23 mpgs . my best was 25 mpgs which was a mix of highway and backroads

EDIT: all i have for mods is a cheap intake off ebay, may not help alot but it sounds mean

Will you two get some sleep! There is life after the PT! Well there isn't I know, I'm waiting for Hawaii to get off work and Japan to open their stock market. Oh, and Jinkno to set new oil prices!!

Make sure you fuel consumption calculation is accurate. During fillups, make sure you put the same amount of fuel in the tank. I normally fillup around 10 gallons each time.

what i notice with my way of driving (if i decided to drive very calm for a while) that i get about ~135 miles with just half the tank which is equal to 216 kms. So i guess u can take it up to 250 miles = 400 kms. --> keep ur rpm between 1700 and 2400 and then tell me what u think

I guess when where not driving other people around we could lighten the load and take out the rear seats. That has to be good for at least 200lbs. Right?

yeah it does. It also makes it easier to see out of the mirror, the car seems less cluttered, and feels a little faster

checked mine the las couple tanks and was impressed, im seeing 23mpg consistently. Thats on a 2001 with aftermarket turbo, not driven lightly. next tank ill try and go easy to see if i can break 25mpg.
oh yeah ill take off my bike rack too, that'll help.

ed, you dont have to put the same amount in each time. i fill it up at the same pump every time and let it go until the first click shuts it off, done. reset trip and i'm off. at a quarter tank or so i go back and refill until first click, record gallons and record trip. divide miles per gallon and done. oh it helps that I pay with a card, not concerned with topping off to get to that dollar and spilling gas down the side of my cruiser.
