Without knowing the circumstances of that mishap, I would hold off judgment on weather the owner is at fault.

Looks like someone forgot to put the hood strut down.[B)]

Scroll back up now, and take a look at the gravel under the front of that PT.

Looks like it has been there a while.

Not too long, as the crease in the hood has not started to rust.

Probably abandoned and wrecked after a joyride.

Dibs on the Chrome Wheels!

I'm with Crewzin, did the pole hit the PT or did the PT hit the pole, its so hard to tell. [:I]

Looks like the battery did the same as mine. Cooked the gravel.

Probably was stolen.

Interesting, the insert in the picture says Brockway, MT, but I don't think Wegman's stores are to far out of NY state and the car has NY plates. Is the driver's air bag deployed on the front seat? It could have been pushed into the pole with no one in it. Could be collecting the insurrance because the gas mileage is so bad!! [xx(]

The sand underneath the car could be indicative of an iced over parking lot which has now melted; hence the now wet parking lot. I believe that Montana did have a snow storm recently which could easily explain the accident.

Even though it's 90 degrees and sunshining here in Phoenix, I'm sure the rest of the country isn't as balmy!

My guess is that the material on the ground is an absorbant, because the car was leaking fluids.[:I] In any case they were a good shot, dead center on the lightpost with all that parking lot around.[B)][:0]
