Hey folks. New guy here. I'm really enjoying our
like-new 2001 Limited. I have a question, though. My cruiser is Patriot Blue with the leather/suede combo, the cd/tape/eq combo, and the sunroof. It doesn't have the underseat storage, the ABS/TRAC or heated seats. Are those stand-alone options or ??? Lemme know! Thanks!!

Welcome to the Forum, PTHIJINX! [^] I't nice to see people come along who lower the average age folks on this Forum. I'm prety new to PT's myself so I can't answer your questions. However, I can suggest you use the search mode on each item and see if anyone has discussed it in the past. There are lots of good people on this Forum so I'm sure you'll get some answers.

Hey! Thanks John! I'm glad to be here. From the posts I've read so far, the folks on this forum are some of the friendliest and well-informed of just about any I've seen. Again, thanks for the warm welcome.. As far as the search option goes, I tried it, and just didn't get as far as I would've liked...so..there we go. Really, the only real reason I was curious about it was that it seems to have quite a few other options, but a few key ones seem to have been omitted, or just not ordered. Like, why have side airbags and not ABS?
Why CD/Tape/EQ and no underseat storage? ??? Hmm. Just a seemingly kinda odd set of combos.. Anyone else have options like mine? I have no idea about option combos so I wasn't sure. Anyhow. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have the same model I have...2001 Limited Edition. I had to buy the underseat storage on ebay as it wasn't offered when I bought the PT. The ABS/TRAC only came with the rear wheel disk brakes and unless they were ordered from the factory or the dealer happen to have one on the lot, it was about a $1500 option. The heated seats were also an extra. The side curtain airbags are on all the models regardless of ABS. You do have a number of things that the newer models don't come with like a rear cargo net, vanity cover on the engine, passenger side lock on the door...but then again you only have one arm rest as Chrysler decided to add a second one a year or so later.

The Underseat drawer hasnt came with out on any 01's PT, but when I traded my old 01 LE PT For a 'O2 LE PT, it had one.. I Guess it was an standard option and im assuming the drawer was an option to order one with.

PTHIJINX, welcome to the forum!!! I have a base Steel Blue PT built in April 02, it has the underseat drawer, but as I bought it used, did not have a modesty engine cover, or rear net. I did get a modesty cover but haven't had any use for the net.

CHIX, nice PIX, are those 'kill yourself doors' (I can't spell siouxaside) Your flames are TDF, have you designed any new PT looks that you can share?[?]. I'd like flames on mine but they would have to be just right.
