Default Looking for salvage yards

Looking for salvage yards in south Jersey and Philadelphia area. In New Jersey they seem to be vanishing. I'd even consider a internet salvage yard or used parts site, if anybody has had good luck with them

There's one fairly close to me - huge - I'd say 1.5 -2 hours North of Philly. At least I think it's still in business...

Last year I ordered a head light on line for a 88 Celeberty.
They wanted 180 new, got one for 25 on line plus 10
shipping. If you do go on line ,shop around prices vary. from 129 to 25
for the same headlight.

My experience with online salvage yards was a little different. I got about 20 emails and of course everyone had the item until I wanted to buy it, then they all had to go look for it, I assume they were looking online. Well, I shouldn't say all, I got disgusted with the process after about 10 tries.

I "played" with it, other than getting Virginia and Ohio (plus correct states) when I asked for NorthEast, it seems impressive.

QSD,
Do you happen to know the name of the salvage yard by you? The page on carparts.com, try this : http://car-part.com/dealerSt.shtml
This list them by state. I found a couple in Phiily that I have to check out. Looking for something by you

Here's where it was -

Haven't been by that way in a long while, sorry.

Have you tried tying "auto salvage" from mapquest for your location?
