Hello all, I have a couple questions that I would like everyone's advice on. My check engine light has been on for a couple of weeks now. My codes are P1684, P0455, and P1193. I know 1684 is the battery was disconnected code. Has anyone had and fixed themselves either of the other two? 0455 is a large evap system leak and 1193 is inlet air temp sensor voltage wrong. I went to the dealer today and they quoted me $90.00 just to look at it. I really do not want to pay this much just for a diagnosis. I have tried disconnecting the neg battery cable and it was fine for a few days, but the light came back on. Any advice on what to do next I would appreciate tremendously. Thanks everyone.

You say after disconnecting battery light stayed out for a couple of days. Did it reappear after you got gas? Did you fill with engine running? That could do it, not just loose gas cap.
You have an aftermarket intake? http://ptenthusiasts.org/PTForums/sh...inlet+air+temp

inlet air temp sensor is in the intake pipe between the filter and throttle body. Did you put a cold air intake on? if you did you probably screwed up the sensor or did not connect the wires securely. There is no repair that you can do other than replacing the sensor unless you have a multimeter and know the acceptable range for that particular sensor.
EVAP leak. either you have a hole in your gas tank, cap is faulty, not tight enough, or there is a loose hose somewhere at the fuel tank area. Try putting a small amount of sealing grease around the gas cap seal and tighten it until it clicks at least twice or go out and buy a new gas cap. Once the repairs have been done you can reset the codes by disconnecting the battery like you have done in the past. P1684 will always be there, it is a system readiness code.

Thank you very much guys, I will try these suggestions. Yes I do have a cold air intake. I just cleaned the k&n air filter the other day and maybe I screwed something up. If the only code I have showing after this is the battery code, that alone will not make the check engine light come on, correct?
