Default another MIL code as my PT was a haulin..

These codes popped up as I was hauling a refridgerator down the road. A few people pulled up next to me, honked and gave me the thumbs up [|)]

I found the p0141~ o2 sensor relay bad or 02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2<~~ have no clue what bank 1 sensor 2 means. Unless sensor 2 is the downstream sensor [:I]

but can't find p0633 anywhere [:I] Any clues folks?

Are there clues in the service manual? Damn, if i can find them [xx(]

Well, as you can tell I'm clueless [B)]

Thanks,
KB

Nudle, I think I've got about 13K miles on S1 now. Why would this pop up just now, if your theory is correct[:I]

I'll be checking the wires this weekend for the p0141 code. Was hoping someone had the explanation for the po633 code though. Looking for someone with the diag. manual...

P0633 is definitely associated with Stage 1, don't worry about it. I've never had a code just "pop up". Does that mean it just spontaneously shows up on the odo display? I only get the P0633 if I do the key on/off cycle to read codes.

Nudle, i just found a thread on another site that coroborates sp? your theory of the p0633 code with S1. Thanks [:X]

MIO~ You were in on the other thread over at thecrew mentioned above for the p0633 code. Actually, I think you expained it to Tezz from the S1 install. instructions. You were correct, it didn't just pop up. The cel/mil light came on and I did the key dance. It was one of the two codes that popped up. The other was a p0141. Maybe a bad 02 sensor heater on bank 1, sensor 2 [:I] I don't think I've been under the car since the DP install, so maybe that has sumtin to so with it [:I]
Thanks Guys,
KB

OurPTGT - I think RallyDRock has a really good guess as to your O2 sensor code, particularly if you installed the DP. The location of the O2 sensor with the DP requires you to unclip the wires from the stock retainer clip in order to make a little slack so that they will reach the new location after the CAT in the DP. It could be that if you didn't make a new retention for the wires that they've rubbed or burned through.

The codes are in the Powertrain manual, not the service manual. The way the sensors are numbered are bank 1 for the bank that has #1 cylinder (only one on PTs) and then sensor 1 for the first one the exhaust hits, sensor 2 for the second. This means the code is for the "downstream" O2 sensor. The relay is used to supply power to the heater circuit, so, I'd guess that this circuit had the problem. I'd suggest opening the hood and using the lid to find which relay is for the 1/2 sensor heater. Take it out and check the terminals. Clean as necessary, and put it back tightly. The code will stay in history (the memory used to help fix intermittent problems) for 40-50 starts. Don't clear the memory, just see if the light goes out. Good luck.

Yeah, I following this and wish I could help.

I can imagine a Hummer site -
"Going on a trip - anyone want to split a tanker of gas?"
