This is the car I've been waiting for my whole life! Last week I got an 04 Inferno Red GT auto. I love this car. Just the right balance of power/room/looks. I know I'm preaching to the choir. My last car was a Neon R/T, had it 4 months and got rearended and it was totaled. Went looking for a replacement and ended up at a Chrysler dealership looking at a used Sebring. It wasn't for me. The man suggested a PT. I told him I can't afford the one I want (GT), but he suggested a test drive anyway. I couldn't beleive the power and torque this car has even compared to the R/T. After I drove it I wanted to cry because this car was $27.5k and my limit was $20k. Then he told me about the $5k cash back, $3,5k cash and and another $1.5 if I went thru Chrysler Fin. After a bit of haggling and getting another $1k knocked off the price, it was mine!
Question. The only thing lacking ont his car is how it handles. The R/T handled like it was glued to the pavement. I want to get the Cruiser closer to handling like the R/T. I know about the strut brace and sway bars. But what brands work the best? |

Congrats on your purchase!
![]() I have a BTG strut brace and Eibach anti-sway bars (front & rears) and the handling has improved alot for me. I'm not able to take corners alot harder. I like the BTG's becuase they look very solid and have a nice look. For more improved handling, you could also lower your PT. I chose not to, since I was worried about bottoming out on bumps & curves. Being that I'm not the only driver, I know it would happen often if I did lower it.
