Sorry to hear about your accident, Cherie! Yours is THE cruiser to be envied and any damage has got to be heart wrenching. Hope the insurance company does you right. I may be able to help you out with a grille if yours was damaged beyond repair and you still would like to keep that kind of grille with the buiser front end. Email me at drdave@smilewurx.com if you need to.

The only problem that I have with mine is that I thought I was high enough and scraped it a few times. Other then that, the Bruizer front end is pretty durable.

Prior to bagging my Cruiser I stuck the nose of the Buizer frontend into a dip going into a parking lot and a concrete parking bumper. Both times it needed a repaint but didn't damage the cover at all. I am quite please with the fit and it goes on very easy.

I built the whole grill out of 1/4 inch Stainless tubing. Took for ever, but turned out pretty good. Back in 2001 I have gotten a grill like yours only to find that it would not fit or even come close. I sent it back and did nothing. Finally decided that I still liked the idea of the swept back look, so gave it a shot and what you see is what I got.

If your original lower grill didn't get damaged in your fender bender, I was told by the company that made your grill that the Bruizer would fit over it. There is a gap between the cover and the original grill and if it isn't enough the back of the Bruizer cover could easily be trimmed to allow room for it to fit.

The only thing that might look funny is that the opening in the Bruizer cover is narrower that the lower portion of the original grill, so wouldn't flow quite as good. (Hope that makes sense)

If memory serves me correctly it is from Germany. A Hella dealer here in the US had it brought over and never got around to putting it on. Phillip was able to pick it up and has the only one we know of in the USA.
