Default New Transmission

Found a spot on the garage floor Saturday. Took it to the dealer this morning. They put dye in and it was leaking at the transmission. They further checked it out and decided that it could not be repaired, they ordered a new one from Detroit. It should be here by the end of the week, or first of next week. My service guy told me they had never had this on any other Cruiser. Leave it to me, right? So now, I've had the clutch replaced on recall, and now a new trany. The car is shifting perfectly, and no weird things have happened. But, they looked at it and decided that repairing the trany is not the way to go. I'd rather have a new one than a rebuilt one, ya know? Since it's under warrenty that's fine by me. There are 22,000 miles on my baby. By the way, my GT is an '03, 5 speed.

Our dealership has treated us very well in the year and a half that we've had our GT. Definetly 5 star to us. Love my car to pieces, and wouldn't want anything else.

Thought for sure it was gonna be an auto that packed it in - the manual seems reliable - guess you got an oddball. Seems it'll turn out fine.
