New to the PT scene...
Is there is an online place to buy a printed copy of the factory PT shop manual?

You can order them from any Chrysler branded dealership.
I've bought all the repair service manuals on CD and the printed diagnostic manuals for every year 2001 thru 2005. It's been nearly a $800 ivestment so for, but it's been worth it. They make significant changes every model year.

I bought mine for the 03at the same place as MX5. it has really come in handy and their a lot cheaper there.I didn't know there where so many changes from 03 to 04 so I better order the 04 one also.

Nope.
I linked to an online source.
I bought all of mine from my local Chrysler dealership parts dept.
They honored the online price and didn't charge shipping.
