Default Rear window washer

Had to use the RW washer the other day, and it seems like it's just "blubbering" out. I get this 1" wide, flat stream that just flows out and down the window. It seems like it should come out in some sort of spray when used.

First check to make sure your fluid reservoir is full, while you're there check to make sure the pick up is clean and free of any debris. If all that is favorable, take a straight pin and clean out the oriface at the discharge point above the rear window, sometimes wax can clog the opening. Hope this helps.

Does that mean it's suppose to spray and not flow?

Let the washer spray for a while. The pump in in the tank by the windshield and if you don't use the rear one often, there may be air in the line and needs time get through.

I, too, replaced the rear wiper with a billet nostalgic handle, since I never used it. Now I'd like to convert the rear window wiper/washer switch to use with an intercooler sprayer. Might as well get some use out of that extra dash switch!
