Default TURN SIGNAL DISPLAY

Let me try to explain my problem.[] When I put my turn signal on to turn right, the display doesnt blink on the panel. My front fog lights also come on. Which causes the bright lights display to light up. If I do not turn the signal all the way off , fog lamps stay on.Is it a fuse, wiring problem? HELP![:0]

Sounds like a bad multi-function switch. There have been other reports of fog lights turning on with the turn signals.

Yep...gotta be the multifunction switch. It's not an unheard of thing. Just like Liberties and Sebrings.

Yup, agree. Not hard to replace - phillips and Torkx screws and clips in - if you're out of warranty.

Kim,
The switch is right there at the end of the turn signal lever in the steering column. You will need to remove the covers, 2 phillips head screws just behind the steering wheel and the top and bottom snap apart. I think the switch requires a T20 Torx driver to remove those screws. Just remember to order the correct switch, the switch is different if you have factory fog lights.
Goog luck!

Kim,
I had a similiar problem about 8 mths ago. This is worth a try. Check your ground cable near your battery, it is grounded to the chasis. It may have loosened or is making poor contact. May need to be cleaned and tightened. Other thing I think my problem was, I drove threw a puddle and I think the foglight bulb socket may have gotten corroded. Try some dielectric grease on the base of the bulb and reinstall (don't touch the glass). Hey its worth a try it's pretty much free compared to a multifuction switch.
