Default Merry Christmas to my PT...

...Not only am I busy now Christmas shopping for my family, but I decided to go ahead to treat my myself and my PT with a new Christmas gift. I recently ordered a Navman ICN 630 Navigation system for my PT. I've been looking for a Nav system for a while now and found a great deal on this one. I just got it in and probably won't open it until Christmas if I can help it.[:0]It took a while to choose between the stock Alpine RB1 or an aftermarket one. I chose this aftermarket one over the Mopar factory one since this one is portable, easy to see on the dash, won't interfere with the radio controls/play, doesnt have to go if I trade my Pt and I can switch it between cars if I needed to. Hopefully I won't get lost anymore while driving with it.

But the question is, " can you input any direction on the fly, or do you have to do it using a PC?" I would think that to be a pain in the butt if you have to change or make a new route and have no PC handy,[:0]

Nice going. The portable one looks nice. Wrap it up as a Christmas present but keep the manual out[?]

You can make, change, or cancel a route at any time, you do not need a Pc to do that. The pro about this device is that it allows you to store up to 50 Addreses/(destinations)and you can type in whichever number the address is under and it will take you to it even while driving where ever you are. The only thing the Pc is used for is to download the Maps from the included Cd-roms to the device using the included USB cable.

BIGDOGDAD- That would be a huge Teaser.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it?? How much are they normally. Considering I have a tendency to get lost I probally could use one of these.

The MSRP is $1149.95 but I purchased mine from Newegg.com for $485.
You also have choices with this system of a 3D view..

and 2D view that can be switched around whenever..
