I have been shopping around for good deals on GTs but I want to know how much you guys think my car would go for. (Stockified except for the rims, spoiler, roof rack, sound system which was all factory anyway) On autotrader.com or a similar website. I know I wouldnt get anything if i traded it in. My car is pretty much a GT without the engine because its completely loaded and has higher than premium rims and other packages like a 6-disc cd changer and factory subwoofer and amp. I just want a GT.

IMHO if you love your car except for the engine:
Get a HAHN turbo!! you will lose more money than the $2495 for stage one or $3495 for stage 2 (100-110 hp on the wheels gain) if you trade to a GT and you said yourself that its almost one anyway Ive had several people tell me to just trade up. But i love MY car. IMHO

You car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. The question is how close your payoff is to what the trade-in value is. I would go for the trade myself, but Im partial. Twice.

Take off that 6" tip and you'll probably get at least another grand for your car. I would go for the turbo man... no telling what's been done to that used GT you buy.

63k miles. I think my best choice would be to opt for the turbo off the gt engine or the gt engine. I could get either one of those for cheaper than the hahn, and the installation is no issue. As I said in the general turbo forums, Ive got a friend who will do it for next to nothing.

unfortunately that install is a big issue, thats why you havent seen it done already. major changes in the wiring harness took place in 2003 with the introduction of the turbo making it incredibly difficult to just drop the motor in. i have only seen one application of the PT Turbo engine being swapped and it was into a Dodge Omni and its not running yet.

I mean just the turbocharger. Is that possible?
