Default T-3 weeks and counting

Hi everyone! Had sometime to shoot a message out to you all. I have about 3 weeks left before i come home. Things are good here, been kinda slow as of late (that's a good thing). My PT is out of the shop and all better now. For those of you that have State Farm, I'm real sorry for you. State Farm said they were going to send the check for my new bumper and told my wife that it would be their on a friday. Friday came and went and still no check. my wife called them on Tuesday of the following week wondering why it wasn't at my house yet. They said they mailed it the day before (monday) and kindly informed my wife that they wouldn't pay for the rental past the prior saturday! My insurance company (USAA) went to bat for me and ripped them a new one. I ended up telling my wife to tell State Farm to take a flying leap and just get the stock bumper. USAA is going to reimburse us for the 5 days extra we had the rental. I'm going to get my smooth roll pan after tax time.

On a lighter note, things are good like i said. I'm suffering with a head cold right now (not good!) and just trying to get myself feeling better. Thank goodness i'm sitting alert and not actually flying right now. I wanted to offer to you all, If you want a US flag that has been flown down range for yourself or whoever, i have one last mission coming up soon and should be able to get it done. I need to no later than the 17th. I'll try to have certificates made for them if i can. I need to know the name of who it is for, and address to send it. Email me at airevac19@charter.net. I wanted to do this for you all as a thank you for praying for us all here and for my family especailly.

Thanks everyone!!

JW

Hello, JW. Happy to hear all is going well and you will be coming home in three weeks. I am interested in a flag and you have mail. Thank you for your service to our great country. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

PS: I have been a USAA member for over 30 years and they are one fine company.

I'll pass on the flag but I would like it a lot if you would be sure and watch your butt and get home to your family without a scratch. You have a safe Christmas and a great New Year.

I would never want to put you out of your way for a flag, but I do ask for a favor. Bring your butt home safe and sound for your family, and give them appreciation for standing by your side. Let them love you as much as they want since I know they have missed you like hell. Stay low, and watch your back. Come home safe and sound, and that's OUR order! God bless and come home soon!
