Default LED Turn signs

Has anyone bought the LED Arrow turn signal that attaches to your right and left mirro's. lights are blue looks cool, but does it work, and how hard is it to wire? I seen them on E-Bay for about $23.00 but shiping for me would be $11.00. So I want to make sure it's worth it. Your thoughts please[:I]

They are stick-on, plastic, chevron shapes. Our mirrors are small to start without adding these dirt catchers. To install I think that you would have to remove your mirrors, take them apart to fish the wires through then remove the inside door trim to run the wires through there and on under the dash into the engine compartment. Next, figure out where on your turn signals to splice into for a signal. Repeat for the other side. Don't expect the install instructions to be much help because they are going to be generic.
That's a lot of work for something that looks so Rice. Check out www.kwmuth.com for the real deal. They cost a lot more but are less hassle to install with complete instructions and parts. They look factory and will really do the job.
Just my 2 cents.

i have the M3's with the indicators on the back of the mirrors, like the new lexus and benzs have - wiring the indicator was a sinch, tapped them into the rears and the wires run under the cover at the bottom of the door, i used a current tester to find it, but if you have the same year and all that i could give you the colors to hurry that up for ya in a few days.

(btw blue would probably be illigal, i dunno about laws wherever yoru from but i know i had to get amber ones, plus i dident want blue anyway, but im pritty sure its in most places that above the bumper has to be red amber or white light

I agree, it does have that "cheesy" look to them. They are kind of...umm...unfinished i guess. I do like the M3 style signal mirrors, but do the ones on eBay really bolt up or do they look stick on and are they power or heated?

Got my M3's off Ebay. Paid PTEAZER to paint and install them. They have amber LED's to the front (not the rear). They were power but not heated.

Agree with the above. In this case, you get what you pay for. AND -Blue is a definite no-no in nearly all states - only a matter of time before some cop decides to bag you.
I like the signal mirrors, but lotta hassle to install, IMHO.
Not quite as good, but something easier, is LED washer nozzles wired to directionals. On another forum was a thread where fellow detailed hooking them up so they were low normally then would brighten & flash with directionals. - Again - no blue - white or amber only.

Watch out for the flashing windsheild washer nozzels. Some states it is illegal to have any extra flashing lights unless you are an emergency vehical.

Even if they are tied to turn signals 4-way flashers only? Then what about the signal mirrors?
I agree in principle - I see some license plate surrounds with flashing lights and they are distracting, and I believe, ilegal.
