Hooligan,
What year is your PT? I installed the fog lights on my 2003 but I had all the wiring. Before I did it some people told me that just because I had the wiring connections by the light itself didn't mean I had the wiring in the harness on the column. From memory if you unplug the Multifunction switch from the harness there should be 2 light blue wires going to pins in the connector piece. I believe this should be pin 8 & 12 or 14. This means your harness is wired. Other than that check fuses and grounds. I'll keep checking my cd & books.Let me know if you figure it out[:I]

Hooligan, do the turn signals and flashers work when you reinstall the old Multifunction switch?
That will tell you if a fuse blew.

Is your Pt an F series? If it is all the wiring is there. I'm thinking that the wiring harness to the multifunction switch isn't wired you may have to run them. I found the connector and the pins diagram off the cd but I can't copy to post here. If I can figure out how I'll email you with the picture and chart. You can also check on PTDIY. http://www.ptdoityourself.net/tl/tl_12.html#285

Seems odd that two multifunction switches would be defective but I guess it is possible. On the '03's the wire to the left rear turn signal is dark green and red. The wire to the right rear turn signal is brown and red. The light blue wires go to the fog lights.
If the old switch works turn signals with the new wiring harness and the new one doesn't, the fuses and wiring should be correct. You might check the inside of the connector of the new wiring harness and see if the old switch and the new switch have the wires to the turn signals in the same pinouts. If they do, you may have gotten a couple of bad switches. You might try checking the voltage across the dark green/red wire (+) and a good ground (-) with the old switch and then the new switch with them each set to left turn signal on. The old switch should be providing 12 volts (since it is working). If the new switch isn't (it should be working if it is showing 12 v), that would indicate a bad switch. It almost seems as if the two multifunction switches are not designed for the new wiring harness.
