I have a 04 GT PT and average about 22-23 mpg, and i drive with a heavy foot, the turbo is just too much fun, you've got to make sure it's still kickin in every once and a while!

Thumbs up Re: poor fuel mileage

That's the problem with my NT "soonercruiser" with the Air Raid Intake!
I just love the "growl" too much!

I do not know if this will help but it seemed to help mine durastically.

I work in a welding shop and have access to a pipe bender. I bought some 3" muffler pipe and spent a few hours bending and fitting the pipe to the Cruiser. It took som doing but it was well worth the effort. I also bought a 3" cat converter and used a 24" glass pack for the muffler. It sounds great and gets great gas milage. You will need to have a dealer reset the computer to let it know the new exhaust is installed. If you don't have the computer changed it will cause the check engine light to come on after you drive for about five minutes or so. If you do this you will also have to make a conversion piece to come out of the stock exhaust header into the new bigger pipe.

Don't worry I have a truck as well. It is a 2004 Dodge 2500 4x4 with a 5.9 cummins and a 6sp trany. It has been chiped and gets 21 with or without a trailer.

When you hear that deeeep hum of the intake, you might want to move your foot off the gas pedal.
