Default Security for your PT

I don't have the benefit of a garage or driveway and park my PT in a common parking area [xx(]. I use the Club on the steering wheel and a related device that attaches the steering wheel to the clutch and prevents it from being depressed. What do you use to secure your PT when parking in a common area or when you are on the road and stay overnight at a motel, etc.

I just use my alarm. Mine has a transponder remote that beeps and vibrates when my alarm sensors are triggered. If I were to get some kind of device though, I'd buy the kind that go on the brake or clutch pedal. [:I]

I also use the club. I think every little bit of deterrent helps. I also throw the (custom made for the PT) sun shade up, day or night so people can't see what's inside. If I'm really headed for a place that I wouldn't want to leave the PT...I take the wifes car.

if someone wants it more than you they are going to take it no matter what.
the clubs weakness is that the steering wheel can be cut in a few seconds bent and the club is easily removed.

the autolock2000 goes between the pedals and the floor, it is the only one i would use. our cars have key transponders which makes them more difficult to steal.
its hard to stop them when they come with a flatbed. ie: neighbors mustang

I have an unbrakeable autolock also. Great device. I also use a club imitation between the gear shift and the parking brake that way if they try to tow it, it'll give them hell. [}] Oh, and it doesn't hurt that I have Lojack and Lojack Early Warning systems installed either!

Manual transmission (yah, now even car thieves can't drive a manual)

and lojack.

For extreme cases, I suggest the self-rearming security system 'pair of Dobermans'
