Juicy...
I haven't physically seen the parts myself. The relay should plug in and out with prongs, no problem. The switch won't come with the relay because it's a different part. The post that I quoted had a bad multi-switch and the relay was still good.
If you go to a dealer parts counter, they can pull the whole assembly up on their computer screen for you so you will be able to view all related parts. And you can price the relay in case you need it, too.
I've heard reports of bad switches but not relays, if that helps.

Juicy,
The plug in module is the combo flasher (Turn signal and 4 way) and more than likely not come on the new switch. As for the part number, the one I posted is from my 2002 parts list and it would not suprise me that the number has changed since so many multi-function switches have gone bad, I would hope Chrysler would be making changes/improvements to them.
Keep us posted.

The flasher module MUST be replaced from the old to the new MF switch. It does NOT come with the new switch. As long as the turn signals work with the old one, the problem is NOT the Flasher!!!

I have a brand new one that I would sell for $45.00 plus shipping. It was a replacement for one that I could not get the turn signals to work, because there were no instuructions([xx(]) to replace the flasher unit. I put the original MF switch on that came with the kit.

I ended up taking my vehicle into the Chrysler dealership that I go to for service because this was covered under my after market service contract. Like a big dummy, I forgot to check to see if it was covered before I started this research. Cost me $100 for my deductible, total bill was $197.66. They diagnosed it and it was the multi-function switch, so we were all right but hindsight is 20/20.

I need a new multi-function switch also because of the Fog light problem. However, the best price I can find online for either the 5073049AB or the 50197152AA switch is $60.

How did you buy it for $52 at a dealer? My dealer wants full retail, $75!

My dealer also gave me the 5073049AB part number, but a reply above says that 5019712AA is the replacement. How do I know which one to get?[:0]
