Gary ,I was going to post this same topic.I put on a differant
horn a while back it was louder than OEM than,but now it sounds like Peewee Herman with a sore throat.Sorry, don't remember the brand.

I've heard that Hella Horns are extremely loud. They're supposed to fit right in - in place of the stock horns.

Check the Italian Air Horn at Griot's Garage. it's only 5.5 inches by 3.75 inches, 4.25 inches deep and it 139 db at 4 feet. $39.99 www.griotsgarage.com

No that looks interesting. I wonder if there is enough room where the stock horn is to mount that?

MY hella horns worked great till the weather got cold now they sound like a dying chicken. perhaps one of the two horns went dead. not sure. when I have time I plan on calling the company and asking them about it. Gary

My hella horns work great also. How "cold" is cold for you guys? did you get the ones made in India or Germany? I have not experienced problems so far, but hre in Seattle we have just gotten to the high 20's and not much colder than that so far.
