Default Fog Light Adjusting Question

Just installed fog lights on my 03, with help from purple04[^], and was just wondering where the beams are supposed to be in relation to my low beam lights?[:I] I know I can adjust them with the screws on the inside portion of the fog light housing, but not sure of the correct height. I have heard you can park a certain distance from a wall and adjust them to the correct height, but don't know the details. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think this will be much help, but I can tell you that my fog lights definitely shine lower than my lowbeams because when I turn them on with the lowbeams already on, they illuminate a part of the road right in front of the car.

Graveone, I would say that it's up to you to decide how you want your fog lights projecting. I believe that the only law (please correct me if I'm wrong) about fog lights is that you can only have 4 lights projecting at any given time. My factory fog lights project about
6-10 feet out in front of my car, and they sort of taper off. You can have themproject more outwards, away from the car, to help with cornering at night, or inwards for a more solid beam. Again, it's your preference on where they shine.

Graveone, I got the factory procedure, will pass it along. To all, the "proper" pattern is straight ahead and 4 inches lower than the centerline of the fog light on a screen (garage door) 25 feet in front of the PT. Seems like the fog lights on mine are only 8-10 inches from the ground, so that would be 4-6 inches on the screen.
