This is my first car, and Mopar has treated me pretty well so far. I was a Ford kid since Dad told me "the only option is a Ford, and maybe a Dodge."

I was going to get an Accord V6, or RSX-S.
But I read about the turbo PTs and it just worked out.[8D]

Excellent question Kevin. I have to answer that I didn't leave Ford, Ford left me.

I learned how to drive on my brothers 1970 Mustang, and loved the throaty V-8 power so much that I went out and bought a 1970 Mercury Cougar 351.

The acceleration was an emotional experience.

The PT Cruiser is the coolest car today, but I will always love old Fords.

Nope. We have been there for years (now and then)

a Barracuda 6 cyl fastback 2-door (mine), a 60's Sunbean Spider 8 cyl. (his), a VW Beetle (ours), a used VW camper van (family), a Mazda 626 (family), a Chryler "big old V-8 car" used for commuting (can't remember what version, just the color) (his), a Chrysler Caravan (family), a Saturn coupe (family), a Ford F150 pickup (his), a 1994 Jeep 4 w/d 2-door (I LOVED that one!) (his, then mine), a Toyota Tacoma pickup 4-w/d crew cab (still his), a 2001 Jeep 4-w/d 4-door (mine/ours), a PT Cruiser (he whined for it and told everyone at the office it is mine) [8)].

Having been born and raised in a GM town (Lansing Michigan - Oldsmobiles & now Cadillacs, Chevys and Pontiacs) I have always been partial to GM and have never strayed very far from the GM line. Only once or twice with something used that I could justify as not being disloyal to GM. My wife has driven Buicks for the last 14 years and has a new LaCrosse now. My PT was the first new Mopar ever for me and I can tell you that I love it. [?] I think the quality is excellent, fit and finish are first rate and I have absolutly no complaints (Except turning radius like everyone else). I plan to keep it long term, unless DC comes out with a PT I like better or GM builds the Chevy Nomad Concept car.[^]

I've always been a "whatever cheap piece of junk" kinda guy.
Now that PT "force" has gotten me, I've come over to the Mopar side.
