Not to bring back a dead thread here. But I have an EGR code being thrown in my 01 cruiser and is this a common thing? I have the Hahn stage 2 turbo kit installed on this vehicle and I dont THINK that would cause this to happen... but is it worth changing the EGR valve to see if thats the cause of the code?

I would think the easiest thing would be to change the EGR valve. I don't know the price or your mileage, but certainly can't hurt, it's easy enough, and then you could rule it out.
How many miles??

49000 miles... hahn stage 2 turbo kit has been on for about 15 now... the check engine light is an intermittent thing. Some days its on, then it will be off for 2 or 3 days, then on for a week. Annoying, yes.
