Hood dents are the reason that many of us put Blaines' Hood Struts on our PT's. No more hood brace rod, no more dents.
The intermittent brake light is due to the brake fluid being right on the edge of being low due to brake pad wear. The light is a little hyperactive. If would be worthwhile to check the brake pads/linings for wear. If they are still OK, you can add just a little brake fluid (don't refill it) and continue on for several thousand miles. If you refill it, you may wear the pads/linings down too far before the warning light comes on again.

They told me front brake pad had 40% wear left. I did put in some fluid it was driving me crazy with the sound and the light. But now I know their only good for about 10,000 miles more at most. I switched tires front to back drives much better. I've talked to dealership owner once before when I had a issue with bumpers with the white marks on them. I only got results talking to DC. I did launch a complaint with DC but I doubt it will do any good cause it a his word against mine thing. But their service manager is geting a rep as a jerk, or is that what they pay them for? Really irritation I had just cleaned it was looking great. Now that thing stars at me, I see it when I'm driving.
Defenitly on a fix list for the year. Thanks guys for the listening ear and the advice. This is a great Forum. |
