I think avg. 18 city, 22-23 highway. I'll need to get out my little book to get more precise numbers, but I'm happy with the fact that I only have to refuel about every 2-1/2 weeks. In my old car, I couldn't last 10 days.

Before I switched to Mobil 1, gas mileage was terrible. First long distance trip after the change, I averaged 28 MPG. My daily commute during the week average 19.5 to 21 MPG. The occasional run against a turbo Subaru drops it to around 15-17 MPG. Control is the answer to the low MPG problem. And of course, properly inflated tires, right oil in engine, clean car vs dirty (wind resistance/slipstream issues)and anything else science can dream up.

Ultimately ... did you buy your PT for the gas mileage ???? [8)]

I have a 2001 Ltd automatic N/A (I think that means non-turbo). I consistently get 22-23 mpg in a normal week of 50/50 hiway/city driving. I've gotten up to 35 mpg on non-stop exclusively hiway trips.

Drive mind 5 days a week to work and also 5 days a week to take the dogs to doggie day care. Go out to dinner twice a week, food shopping on Saturday and usally once or twice a week to Home Depot or Lowes. Mileage? I don't know. Just fill it up once a week and keep on cruisin'

Naw, mileage doesn't matter to me when I go WOT and dust the ricer that was just showing off at the light and trying to rev up on me. Boy do they look mad when they realize that a PT Cruiser left them about 3 or more cars behind! [][?]
