Default My PT is acting up at 68K miles (VERY BAD)

This cars problem is starting to surface now and I can feel it coming. I haven't had any problems from 55K up to now but:

1)The bushing were bad all along

2)The rear window defroser went bad.(don know if I need to replace window or repaint it.

3)the clutch went bad 2 weeks ago got it fix for $600 because I had to replace the clutch cylinder too.

4)NOW I getting this burning smelling from the engine that I can't seems to find

5)I get a popping noise like a broken exhaust pipe from on the the engine when I rev the engine and release the gas.

I'm having doubts about this cars reliability at this mileage. Seriously thinking about selling it but I haven't have the heart and $ to do it

Sorry to hear.
I'm just under 85,000 miles and the only problems I've had were slight misses - twice - cured by plugs/wires.
How's it run? Popping noise is usually mild backfire caused by unburned fuel lighting up in exhaust - have you done plugs & wires? The unburned fuel in exhaust MIGHT also be your burning smell.[:I]

bushings go bad,it is an inherent problem.
check fuses/circuit breaker for rear defrost.
clutches wear just like brakes. chalk it up to learning.
burning smell, possible oil leak near exhaust.
popping could possibly be egr valve they are more prone to failure during the cold months.

NYC is tough on a car. Service there is expensive too. You might find better prices out on Long Island.
