finally finished painting my sideview mirrors! i posted the whole step by step and supplies and such.

Nice Job. Great link, also very good of you.[8D] Didn't know you could have paint store mix and put in can for you. I don't see any spots must have evened out when it dried or did you wet sand it? Looks real good on the site. I would think you would want to clear coat it to help protect color. I don't know if they would put clear coat in mix with color. But I don't know that much about auto paint. You must take good care of paint on car, I don't see any differance in color.

thanks guys. i just found out that you can put color coded manufacturer paint in an aerosol can from a beemer forum. if anyones tempted, im sure any automotive paint store can do it, just know the color code or ask the sales person to help locate it on your car. i dont know much about auto paint so it was all new for me too.
