ok THE PROBLEM OF THE AC IS RESOLVED

Anyway one more problem solved out of alot of problem. The PT is not a quality built car I have to say compare to others in the same price range
Glad you'll be able to kep your cool. What other problems? Needing an A/C charge is not an indication of poor quality...
My PT is a 2001 Lt Ed. I love the car as because it's my 1st car that I actually paid with my own $. I like the look of thing and the solid feel of the metal hinges and panels. BUT beside the plastiky interior plus the not so fit FIT and finish of the interior panels the whole suspension just seem whobbly. Also There are raddling noise from the interior and clinging sqeeking noise from the front and rear suspension. The engine sounds loud when at a stop sounding like a diesel enegine(Dek dek dek dek dek!!......)......O yea and the cheap leather steering wheel paint is peeling off(alot) etc......other wise I still love the car eventhough it's slow

O Yea the rear brake something drag on even my feet aint on the brake when moving.etc...alot of problems[8D]

You never said what year your PT was. Was this something that was covered under warrent?
My pt is a 2001 with 70k miles now so it's not cover but I really don't care cause refilling the freon is easy and cost me only $40 total + $15 of my time.......if you take it to a shop they'll charge you atleast $80 + you have to leave the car for maybe a 1/2 day there.
