Default opinons on sunroof deflectors

I am pondering getting a sunroof deflector. I would appeciate hearing opinions and suggestions from those of you that have them about which are best and which I should stay away from.

Some specific questions I would like answered by those that are able:

1) The deflectors that have the dual adjustable "tabs" -- are they worth it? Do they really make a difference?

2) The type of deflector that is attached via some kind of "clips" instead of 3M tape - is that better or worse than the 3M tape method? Explain why.

3) Who is the best supplier for sunroof deflectors?

i dont have one because of my roof rack fairing.
if i were to get one it would definitely be the Benevento
quality looks to be the best and easy install. i would sty away from the tabs, one more thing to break/fall off

I had one on a Mercedes and my last two explorers, none of which did much good. They were all held on with tape and staid put just fine. I've asked for feedback from PT folks who have them but I never heard back. [?]

Friend of mine has the deflector with the dual tabs on it and he loves it. If angled right can create a nice little breeze. Not sure what brand it is.

I think the Benevento was the deflector of choice of many (I personally prefer to use my sunroof only occassionally, so don't need a deflector).

Here's a link to Benevento...... http://www.benevento4you.com/SunroofWindDeflectors.html

Benevento. Took it from my '02 and it's now on my '05 - couldn't do that with a stick-on. Works great, just the thing for a misting rain. Why glue it on? the Stainless clips hold well, don't interfere with anything.
Can't comment on dual flaps, I have the plain.

I have the Benevento no flaps. Didn`t feel the need. The thing works great. Oh yea its the clip on. I didn`t want to have any deflector but with out it the noise was terrible. You couldn`t hear the radio without blasting it. Was definitely worth it. [?]

IMHO, the BENEVENTO CUSTOM SUNROOF WIND DEFLECTOR is the only way to go. [8] It's build-quality is outstanding, looks great, and is firmly secured by four screws--once adjusted it stays in place. I have had one on my car now for almost a year now--no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend. [8D]

I got the Benevento folks are talking aobut here and had a hard time getting it clipped on....think one of my flanges on the sunroof is a bit long. Anyhoo....I wasn't ticked with the brown smoked color of it on my black cruiser. Ended up getting a clip on one directly from Mopar in a nice grey smoke tint. I'm pretty pleased with it and would recommend it.

I realy need to get one cause last night I was on the freeway and an open sunroof would be great but my Grandson could not listen to his CD over the roar of the sunroof and the other position has so little air circulation it is almost worthless! I have seen them for around $50 so they seem like a good deal to me![8)]
